The role:
Knight Frank Australia are looking to recruit a National Operations Manager accountable for the performance of the Region Group Australian portfolio of approximately 100 shopping centres.
You will lead a team of motivated property professionals to manage the day to day operations/facilities management of the portfolio and ensure best in class support and service to the client through strategic advice, excellence in execution and exceptional service delivery.
Your success in this role will be achieved through leveraging key leadership skillset, ability to navigate unique circumstances whilst ensuring that the strategic goals of the business are adhered to and on track.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage a team of state based regional Operations Managers and their broader centre based operations teams.
- Operational performance of the portfolio
- Environmental health & safety
- Operations and maintenance management
- Financial planning, programming, and budgeting
- Environmental and Sustainable Performance
- Operations team training and development
- Essential services maintenance and performance
- Coordinate the delivery of the national procurement strategy
- Contractor management and process governance
- Portfolio reporting
- Significant portfolio operations management experience (retail preferable)
- Solid understanding of the commercial property industry
- Ability to operate in both strategic and operational manner.
- Analytical and conceptual skills
- Change agent - ability to identify performance and process improvement opportunities and take ownership of implementation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proven ability to take initiative, demonstrates innovative and flexible approaches, identify issues, and deliver timely solutions.
