In this hands on position, you will oversee operations in VIC and NSW, ensuring efficiency and excellence in delivering top-tier solar, battery, and smart energy solutions. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving growth, streamlining processes across the install teams, product suppliers and all day to day business operations.
We seek a savvy and high energy individual with proven experience in senior operational roles, preferably within the solar/renewable energy, energytech, electrical or related industries.
The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a track record of implementing successful operational improvements. Exceptional leadership and team management abilities are essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to sustainability and a passion for renewable energy are crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage National Operations, including procurement, logistics, project management, installation and customer service, ensuring seamless execution of projects.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives and relationships to optimize operational performance, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align operations with company goals, ensuring all departments work cohesively towards our mission.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence by implementing best practices, innovative technologies, and efficient processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols, maintaining the highest level of operational integrity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, partners, and customers to enhance business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the development and training of operational staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and professional growth.
- Monitor and analyse operational performance metrics, providing regular reports to the Directors.
- Proven experience in a senior operational role in the renewable energy, energytech, electrical or related fields.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a track record of successfully implementing operational improvements.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with experience in leading large, diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
