National Procurement Manager

The Role: We are currently in search of a skilled National Procurement Manager to join our team and be based in either Melbourne, Sydney or the Sunshine Coast. In this role, you will have strategic oversight of the procurement of goods and services within the Keyton business from a corporate, development and operational perspective. You will manage the relationship with key suppliers, undertake commercial negotiation of purchasing agreements and ensure agreements with suppliers meet the needs of residents and the wider Keyton business.

This role will see you:Lead the Keyton procurement function, including team management and functional responsibility. Continuously improve Keyton’s procurement strategy for corporate, development, capex, reinstatement, refurbishment, and village procurement

Prepare and supervise supplier tenders by gathering relevant Village/Management data and conducting market research on potential suppliers. Strategic review of material village/Management expenditure items and identification of opportunities to provide value through competitive processes. Manage material supplier relationships including regular meetings, KPI reviews and rebates payable where applicable.

Develop and maintain cooperative professional relationships with villages and suppliers through investigating and resolving material supplier enquiries. About you:To be successful in this role, you will have:Minimum of 10 years’ experience in procurement or finance

Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Law, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is desirable. Demonstrate a high level of commercial acumen. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate, influence and effectively engage with others.

Advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Strong leadership skills, capable of inspiring and motivating a team of procurement professionals. Solid Microsoft Office & computer skills
