The role involves leading and managing a team of dedicated Quality & Compliance Officers who specialize in a particular program. The National Quality & Compliance Manager and the team will lead policy review and development to ensure Real Futures Policies & Procedures align with Program guidelines and the company ethic and culture. The Quality & Compliance team will act as a claim lodgement team for Programs, where directed by the CEO.

The National Quality & Compliance Manager duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop and implement an internal audit programme to identify compliance issues and provide advice or development
  • Monitor identified Key Performance Indicators (KPls) and work with Program Managers to ensure risks to these targets are outlines, addressed and action plans put in place 
  • Undertake ongoing reporting of relevant information to CEO
  • Liaise with Government Contract Managers where required
  • Keep accurate records of current and past contracts per government requirements 
  • Manage information collection and records systems to ensure compliance with contracts
  • Maintain and update master spreadsheets for Finance
  • Manage Quality and Compliance of outcome claims including manage & review claims evidence / documentary evidence when needed
  • Assist Program Managers with departmental requests for information or claims issues
  • Assist Program Managers to write departmental reports such as Progress Reports, Annual Reports etc. to a high quality standard
  • Assist management to undertake surveys and reviews or partners and aspirants to obtain feedback and guide continuous improvement measures

Staff Management & Supervision

  • Management and supervision of Quality & Compliance team
  • Lead, develop, support, motivate and ensure high performing teams that are passionate and committed to ensuring quality and compliance that lead to claims outcomes and quality service delivery 
  • Conduct staff inductions and manage employee relations
  • Manage staff probation and performance reviews
  • Facilitate Staff Training and organise professional development activities for staff 
  • Facilitate and manage staff meetings

Quality Assurance:

  • Maintain Staff Training Register across all programs
  • Maintain and update Continuous Improvement Register
  • Assist Program Managers with Continuous Improvement strategies
  • Manage Document Control Processes including creation of new documents and naming/saving documents per process
  • Maintain an organisational risk register; and an organisational contract register 
  • Maintain Version Control data base and update regularly
  • Write and update policies & processes for approval
  • Maintaining quality and standards in line with Real Futures Policies & Procedures, program guidelines and departmental requests including internal auditing of documents and processes

General Duties

  • Maintaining the Cultural ethic of the company by respecting Elders and community protocol 
  • Adhere to company Policies & Procedures
  • Actively participate in staff and stakeholder meetings (in person and via teleconferencing and video calls)
  • Submit reports and schedules to supervisors in a timely manner and ensure deadlines are adhered to 
  • Undertake relevant performance reviews, development and training as required 

Essential

You will be an experienced and detail focused administration professional, along with:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, record keeping skills and well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-developed negotiation and influencing skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office software and its applications - Computer skills in word, excel, and database entry
  • Understanding and ability to undertake Information and Data collection processes
  • Demonstrated Leadership and Management
  • Communication (verbal and written), and presentation skills
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement and decisions
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Ability to comply with Real Futures' code of conduct, company policies and procedures and uphold the organisations values in all interactions
  • Current driver's licence and a good driving history
  • Current Working with Children's Check and Police Check or willing to obtain ASAP
  • Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol Test
  • Ability to hold a MyGov account and Employment Services System (ESS) 
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Administration or Auditing

Desirable:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Administration, Human Services, Business, Marketing, Employment Services or associated fields

Knowledge:

  • Experience of Employment Services System (ESS)
  • Employment Services experience (TTW, DES, WFA)
  • Case management Experience

  • Have full working rights in Australia 
  • Have a current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Complete an Australia History Criminal Check
  • Have a current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check before employment
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm
