A great opportunity has become available for an experienced Quality Manager to join our team in Sydney.
Working across the organisation, the Quality Manager - Processes, Tools & Compliance is focused on supporting performance improvement and control of identifiable business risks through effective process management and compliance activities. There are 2 primary accountabilities:
- Process Effectiveness & Tools management - responsibility for driving process effectiveness and tool use at the company level, in line with the business objective(s), in order to support decision-making, continuous improvement and efficient practices.
- Quality Compliance Framework management - accountability for the development, implementation, on-going management & delivery of the Quality Compliance Framework, including facilitation of the joint Quality and HSE Assurance Program in partnership with HSE.

YOUR ROLE
Working from our Sydney HQ, Sydney Olympic Park, on Wann-gal land, your role purpose will be:
- Ownership of key Quality processes (Non-Conformance, Customer Complaints and Audit management) and ensuring effective use across all domains
- Change Management associated with processes and tools including system upgrades, communication, and training to ensure effective business adoption
- Implementation and facilitation of the Quality Compliance Framework and the joint Q & HSE assurance programs
- Management and conduct of internal compliance audits and TIMS assessments
- Leading and/or participating in management of corrective actions to ensure timely follow-up, completion and validation of corrective action effectiveness
- Provide regular reports to the Quality Team and the relevant stakeholders on process/tools/compliance matters, including quality compliance matters & CBU performance, and overall state of the quality system
YOUR EXPERIENCE
To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in either Science or Engineering or equivalent tertiary and/or industry qualifications
- Structured Lean/Process Improvement qualifications – e.g. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
- Lead Auditor qualifications
- System administration management skills
- Microsoft Office - Excel (Advanced), Word (Intermediate) and PowerPoint (Intermediate) proficiency, Microsoft PowerBI and SharePoint
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) including the ability to prepare and present reports to a range of audiences
- A comprehensive understanding of quality and risk management principles, framework and methodology.
- Quality Assurance auditing & assessment
- Detailed knowledge of the requirements of ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System
- Demonstrated experience in accreditation processes, including performance and coordination of internal audits and preparation of relevant documents
