MARS Recruitment are partnering with an iconic automotive firm who are looking for a National Relationship & Account Manager to join their Melbourne team in a newly created position.
This role is responsible for delivering professional account management service to nominated existing and prospective accounts through multi-level client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Account Plans to optimise compliance, identify growth opportunities, understand the influencers, decision makers and the client / prospect structure, and business and technology environment.
- Maintain and continually develop Assist clients through initiatives and augmented product offerings designed to strengthen Assist's partnerships
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to attract new clients - create opportunities to engage key prospective clients
- Monitor and report on market trends through personal contact with clients, suppliers and industry groups
- Monitor and report on market trends through personal contact with clients, suppliers and industry groups.
- Provide information and advice to the business in relation to client or customer feedback regarding products and services to both enhance existing products, and aid in the development of new opportunities or offerings
- Prepare and deliver client presentations, requests for proposal / information, tenders and contracts
- Assume responsibility and project planning for seamless, coordinated onboarding of new clients or programs
- Lead account performance reviews aligned with contractual KPI's and client business improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and monitor the overall financial relationship between Assist and assigned accounts e.g. debtor's, profitability etc
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with our major service partners
Criteria:
- Experience working within the automotive industry (or managing automotive accounts)
- Significant experience in a corporate sale and/or Account Management role.
- Demonstrable accomplished negotiation and communication skills with an aptitude in building relationships at all organisational levels.
- Proven ability to deal with large corporations, convey superior levels of customer service and determine complex business solutions with analytical precision.
- Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Well-presented and professional manner.
