National Relationship Manager

The opportunity

As the National Relationship Manager in our Commercial Operations team, you will be responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with key partners, brokers, and clients on a national scale. Your primary focus will be to drive business growth and profitability through effective underwriting strategies.

Your new role

• Lead a team of Commercial Underwriters
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, brokers, and clients across the country.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategies to expand our underwriting portfolio.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions to provide strategic insights.
• Work closely with underwriting teams to ensure consistent and effective risk assessment.
• Address client concerns and provide solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Happy to talk flexible working.

About you

• Proven experience in underwriting within the insurance industry.
• Experience in Trade Credit & Surety desirable.
• Strong understanding of underwriting principles, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, specifically Brokers.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data.
