The new Business Operations & GP Relationship Manager for Sydney Eye Clinic Brookvale will be focused on optimising the operational processes of the business, managing and developing the team, growing the doctor
network and strengthening the referral relationships.
 

This successful candidate will work closely with Sydney Eye Clinics Business Manager, the Optometry Liaison Representative and the Sales and Marketing Manager to enhance the Business Operations and grow the referrals. This person will also be responsible for promoting any other SMS Clinics services to the GP community in North Sydney.

You will be able to hit the ground running utilising your previous management experience and ideally come from a clinic manager, operations or business development background.

 You will enjoy being part of a motivated team and be passionate about delivering an exceptional patient experience, streamlining processes, strengthening relationships with doctors and referrers.
 

Your skills and experience will include: 

• A previous role in clinic management, operations or business development.
• Previous experience working with specialists, GPS or healthcare practitioners
• Demonstrated the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
• Proactive and motivated to establish and continue to refine clinic systems and processes, with an interest in how digital technology can support the delivery of patient care.
• Have a strong business and commercial acumen, with an understanding of financial budgeting, labour management and setting performance metrics for accountability and patient experience.
• Experience working in healthcare is essential, Ophthalmology experience is desirable but not essential.
•  Experience utilising clinic practice management software, Genie experience is desirable but not essential.
• An understanding of medical quotations, surgical bookings and billings.
• Experience with labour management KPIs to optimise the use of staff across a busy clinic schedule.
• Great communication, organisation and time management skills
• Ability to “think outside of the box” and work with the Sydney Eye Clinic team and the wider SMS Shared Services team to enhance Business Operations.
• Experience working with referrers, coordinating activities such as site visits and events that drive referral growth.
