We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic National Safety & Compliance Administrator to join our dedicated team located within our Head Office, Laverton North, Victoria. Reporting to the National Safety & Compliance Manager, you will be an integral part of the safety and compliance team.
You will provide timely, effective administrative support and assistance across a range of safety and compliance functions. This role actively supports the broader Cahill team through the provision of advice, support, development and coordination of a range of safety and compliance initiatives.
Duties include managing safety communications, overseeing administrative tasks and maintaining Rapid Global, coordinating meetings, facilitating compliance, and supporting safety initiatives. Additionally, it involves generating reports, participating in company activities, upholding policies, fostering a positive work environment, promoting safety culture, and assisting with various tasks as directed by the National Safety & Compliance Manager.
About you:
- Proven experience in administration activities
- Competent in Microsoft office suite
- Certificate IV in Health and Safety (Desirable)
- Experience in Transport/Logistic Industry or similar (Desirable).
- Experience in injury management and return to work programs (Desirable)
- Experience in the development of operational documents (e.g., SOPs, Risk Assessments etc.)
- Effective, clear communication and interpersonal skills
- Approachable, self-motivated and enthusiastic with a positive ‘Can do’ attitude and solutions mindset
- Willingness to contribute to, and work in a team environment
- Ability to work independently and plan and work under pressure
