Role

This newly created position has fantastic scope for growth and rarely comes across our desks. This position is critical in achieving our client’s business gaols and go to market strategy in the coming years ahead across Retirement Living, Multi-Residential & Home Builders. You will initially manage a small team and look to grow your team nationally and the residential business division in the coming years.

You will take full responsibility for coaching, mentoring & driving the sector sales team to even greater heights to achieve the growth targets our client has set for the years ahead. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, building, and maintaining strong client relationships, and developing new business opportunities, while also leading and managing a team of sales professionals across the country.

In this role, you will work collaboratively to achieve strong sales growth through strategic planning and execution. You will also use your skills to drive strategic change, improve productivity, and foster a high-performance culture and team.

Routes to market, include, Retirement Living, Developers & Builders

Skills & Experience
To be successful for this position you must have the following:

  • Strong sales management experience within the decorative building products market. Experience with Builders, Developers & Retirement Living is essential.
  • Previously demonstrated commitment and good tenure with similar companies in the industry. Tenure is important to our client.
  • Demonstrated people management skills, including the ability to coach, mentor and elevate your team members careers.
  • Well-connected in the industry with relevant stakeholders, builders, developers, and a leader that leads from the front.
  • You must be prepared to work remotely, travel interstate often, and build a business within a business.
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work across multiple functions.
  • Superb with numbers, data, CRM management and budgets.
  • Five plus years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Happy to travel interstate occasionally for meetings, conferences, and tradeshows.
