We are seeking an experienced National Sales & Marketing Manager for our growing business based in Banksmeadow. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for spearheading Nutrisoy's nationwide (and international) expansion efforts while nurturing key relationships with major customers, including supermarkets, distributors, foodservice, B2B, and retailers.
Responsibilities:
- Promote business expansion by securing new sales opportunities while bolstering existing customer relationships
- Foster productive connections with all customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Manage the process of creating, negotiating, and formalising contracts or agreements with both new and existing customers
- Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and performance metrics to inform business decisions and resource allocation
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and fresh opportunities for both current and potential customers
- Execute strategic marketing plans and initiatives to enhance our brand presence, ensuring a strong return on investment on all activities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a small team to achieve sales targets and marketing goals
- Collaborate with the product development team to provide market insights and customer feedback, contributing to the creation of innovative and market-driven products
- Report directly to the General Manager and Managing Director, providing regular updates on key performance metrics
Requirements:
- In-depth experience and knowledge of the supermarket trade is imperative
- A successful track record in sales, particularly with chain and independent supermarkets, distributors, foodservice, B2B, and grocery retailers
- Strong business acumen with a natural sales ability and results-oriented mindset
- Confident communicator (both verbal and written) with the ability to build and influence relationships
- High level of customer service and meticulous attention to detail
