National Warehouse Operations Manager

Position Overview: 

As the National Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all Warehouse Operations across Australia, including our own facilities and employees at customer sites. Based at Dandenong South and Croydon with interstate and local travel required to oversee all warehouses

Your primary focus will be on driving system and process improvements, staff training, integration of systems, WMS system management, safety, and creation of documents such as SOPs. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of Warehouse Operations nationwide
• Identify and implement system and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Conduct staff training and development programs to ensure a high performing team
• Manage the integration of systems and technologies to optimise Warehouse Operations
• Oversee the WMS system and ensure its proper functioning
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Develop and maintain SOPs and other relevant documentation
• Oversee all recruitment of staff in our Warehouse Operations nationwide
• Assist in growth opportunities for contracted warehousing and permanent labour division

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Business or Management is ideal but not mandatory
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Operations Manager or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Operations, systems and processes (forklift licence is preferrable)
• Strong Knowledge of compliance and COR 
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong people leader
• Ability to travel interstate and locally as required
