The warehouse and Operations Manager duties will include but not limited to:
- Lead and oversee daily operations of the warehouse, including the warehouse facility, equipment, and people
- Ensuring effective management of all deliveries to Melbourne metro and country areas.
- Coordinating with all business departments investigate/resolve client complaints
- Working with the inventory team to ensuring quality control of all incoming goods and implementation of inventory control initiatives
- Manage and reduce operational costs relating to OT
- Proactively manage the Occupational Health and Safety Standards and HACCP requirement within the business.
- Support regular stocktakes, stock rotation and accurate recording of all stock.
- Oversee the hiring, onboarding and performance review of staff in line with the HR department.
- Overseeing general site maintenance including overseeing fleet, forklift and maintenance.
- Report on operations as needed
- Recommend improved operating policies and processes to reflect best practice.
To be considered for this role you must demonstrate:
- 5 + years experience in a similar role within the building products industry.
- Proven ability to drive operational initiatives and meet KPI's
- Qualifications in a relevant field will be highly regarded.
- Strong communication, relationship building, analytical and problem solving skills
