About the role
You will support delivery of the Divisional safety and wellbeing operational and risk services and positively influence leadership on day to day risk management.
This role provides high quality safety and wellbeing services aligned to the safety and wellbeing strategy, frameworks, standards and supporting systems.
This is a 12 Month fixed term contract position located in the Bunnings National Support Office, Burnley.
What's Involved:
Partner with leaders to manage and mitigate safety and wellbeing risks
Support change management activities to support implementation of safety and wellbeing systems, initiatives and programs
Enables the increase in Leader capability in safety and wellbeing through coaching and other relevant development strategies
Ensures that safe systems of work are implemented and monitored, in accordance with the Safety and Wellbeing Management System
Who we’re looking for:
You will be skilled at working with a broad range of stakeholders, with the ability to negotiate and influence positive outcomes. You will have a high level of attention to detail and be effective at planning and organising your time to autonomously manage your own workload.
You'll need:
Significant demonstrated experience in a similar level role
Tertiary qualification in health and safety, injury management or related discipline
Ability to operate within a complex and dynamic environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence and inspire proactive action and change
Previous experience in a retail environment – highly desirable
