Our client is a leading distributor of capital equipment for use in construction, heavy industry, agriculture, mining and defence. They are seeking to appoint a National WHSEQ Manager, a key member of their senior team and responsible for providing high-level advice and support to the broader business in matters related to health, safety, environment, and quality.
Reporting to the General Manager People & Culture, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing the WHSEQ strategy across all operations where your primary objective will be to cultivate a safe, healthy, and quality-controlled work environment for all employees.
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced WHSEQ leader with a deep understanding of the relevant health and safety compliance requirements and regulations to create a robust set of policies, practices, and procedures that enable best practices in daily operations. You will have strong capabilities in establishing clear metrics and reporting frameworks that can be integrated into health and safety management systems to capture data for regional and national reporting.
Given the nature of the business, exposure to capital equipment, heavy industry or a logistics environment is ideal.
