Support the smart entrepreneurs in our Small Business network
Hold deep conversations with customers to add value, uncover and meet financial needs
Find and grow opportunities for new business through identifying customer’s core needs
In your role as a Small Business Specialist, you will uncover your customer’s needs and recommend a tailored banking solution to create value for their business. Immersing yourself in the branch team, you will to grow revenue through deposits, lending and share of wallet through origination of new Small Business customers to ANZ, business development and undertaking health checks for existing ANZ Small Business customers.
You will be a specialist local banker who looks after a branch cluster where you will build and develop a relationship with their branches and local networks to hunt for new business and focus on Micro Commercial customers with Business Lending needs. You will also collaborate and prospect with the broker network for new business opportunities. You will also coach and mentor Banking Consultants, Personal Bankers and Service Consultants to identify and refer quality opportunities.

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Strong customer service and business development experience
Be comfortable working with a wide range of clients face to face
Strong stakeholder management experience
Ability to work cohesively in a team
Commercial Banking and Retail Banking experience will be highly regarded
