We are working with this client, a National NDIS-Supported Independent Living (SIL) care and in home care support provider who bring a unique combination of care and accommodation for participants who require “High Physical”, “Robust” and “Non-SDA” homes close to all amenities, medical precincts, and services with 24/7 tailored support.
  
Currently active across three states including Queensland, Victoria, and South Australia with a dedicated team of over 275+ employees this company plans to continue their expansion and grow their participant numbers and employees Nationally with a strong focus on Victoria growth.

THE POSITION…
This is a key role in VIC responsible for establishing connections and building relationships with key stakeholders in and around the metro West area with the goal of increasing participant numbers for their SIL properties.  The role is also responsible for service delivery and coordination and for overseeing the end-to-end intake process for new SIL clients.   

Specific responsibilities include…

  • Business Development; Utilise your established network in the NDIS sector to identify and build the participant numbers through relationship development, networking events and meetings.
  • Lead Generation; Continually seek and research new sources of prospective customer data, and provide recommendations to leadership team.
  • Enhancing the Participants Experience; by providing exceptional levels of service to them and their families about our services and what is available to support them with their daily living.
  • Client and Stakeholder Engagement; Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including, Support Coordinators, NDIS participants, and their families.
  • Company Representation; Represent the company at high-level industry events, networking meetings, and expos to promote our innovative services.
  • Manage the intake process for new participants; mange all new and existing enquiries, client matching and the review of funding and ensure effective home and living solutions.
  • Administration; Coordinate the documentation process for new clients including Service Agreements, Tenancy Agreements, Renewals, Restrictive Practice reports and all other documentation relevant to intake.
  • Communicating with NDIS Participants; take enquiries and assist clients who are interested in our Support Services, in-Home Care, Respite, SIL & SDA.
  • Organise house viewings; meet and greets for potential participants and help intake team to bring in potential clients.
  • Marketing; Work closely with Marketing Team and Business Development Manager to build on our industry network, brand and social media presence in Victoria. 
Who we are looking for…
We are in search of an exceptional business and networking professional with a strong background and existing connections within the NDIS sector in VIC.  

This is a key role that requires someone who has strong relationship development and strategic business acumen.  

This role facilitates events, new partnerships, drives initiatives and will be critical to the growth and expansion of the Victorian operation and managing the ongoing relationships with participants and their families.

Experience and Qualifications…
Ideally, we are looking for an experienced NDIS Business Development Consultant, however, we would also consider a Support Coordinator or Support Worker who has had previous experience in a role that would easily elevate them to success.

  • Experience in the NDIS sector in Business Development or similar role, with a strong record of achieving and exceeding KPIs
  • Existing, robust connections within the sector, capable of opening doors and creating new opportunities for business growth.
  • Experience with marketing coordination, social media posts and coordination of events.
  • Experience in delivering an intake service with associated skills in the provision of assessments and other intake functions. 
  • Proficient in CRM software and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience working with vulnerable people and knowledge of varying degrees of disability.
  • Solid understanding of the NDIS sector, plans and service agreements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective communication with our NDIS participants and their families.
  • Experience liaising with internal/external stakeholders such as Support Coordinators, families/guardians, allied health professionals.
  • Highly developed communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with staff, clients and families.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Essential to the role would be qualifications in sales, business, marketing or communications, sound knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme and the Disability Inclusion Act (2014), a valid
NDIS Worker Screening and working with Children Check and a valid Drivers License.
