About the Opportunity
Are you looking for a unique opportunity to blend your technical acumen, business operations and strategy experience with a growing climate tech scale up? Then this may the right role for you! The ideal candidate will have a robust background in engineering and consulting with a passion for making the world more sustainable through innovative technology & disruptive processes.
As the R&D Operations Manager, you will work closely with the CTO to further develop and refine our technology strategy, streamline our R&D processes, and deliver sustainable solutions throughout Novalith’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Work closely with CTO and senior leadership to develop and ensure projects meet business & technical requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, projects, operations, to bring new products to market.
• Manage R&D investments throughout the project lifecycle, from investment scoping and design, tendering through to project management and supporting the delivery of Novalith priorities.
• Stay current on industry trends and developments in lithium technology.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to corporate governance, including legal, financial, and reputational risks.
• Communicate and present polished reports effectively with relevant stakeholders, including investors, ELT, and customers.
• Accelerate the adoption and commercialisation of technology and innovation within Novalith.
• Work closely with senior managers to further develop and align business strategy, processes, and day-to-day operations.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
About you
• 5 to 7 years of post-graduate experience, ideally with a blend of Consulting, Strategy or Climate Tech exposure (i.e. McKinsey, BCG, Bain & Co, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field ideal, but not necessary
• Clear passion for sustainability and a proven track record of accelerating innovation.
• Deep commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, interdisciplinary team environment.
