We are looking for a Recovery Coach to join our team!
Outasight Support Services focuses on supporting participants to access and utilise their NDIS plans through our Support Coordination and Recovery Coaching services. With a passion to actively engage and empower participants to achieve their goals. Outasight Support Services works in collaboration with participants to maximize their supports and build a person's capacity to maintain or increase their independence through NDIS.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
➢ Coaching to increase recovery skills and build capacity, including motivation, strengths, emotional
resilience, and decision making
➢ Support Participants with their recovery planning
➢ Collaborating with the broader system of supports
➢ Support Participants to select preferred options or providers
➢ Assist participants to decide on what actions to take to achieve goals
➢ Assist participants to prepare for their plan review by supporting them
➢ Managing an individual case load and perform the tasks autonomously
➢ Organising a timetable/roster to meet deadlines/appointments
➢ Completing Progress Reports as per NDIS requirements
➢ Liaise with allied health and NDIS funded providers, Stakeholders
➢ Monitor NDIS budget and funding
➢ Research local providers for activities of their choice
➢ Writing comprehensive case notes and do this articulately, clearly, and concisely
QUALIFICATIONS:
➢ Certificate IV in Mental Health or equivalent
➢ Current Victoria Drivers License
➢ Comprehensive Car Insurance
➢ Current Working with Children's Check
➢ Current valid First Aid and CPR Certificate or willing to apply
➢ NDIS Worker Screening Check
➢ COVID-19 Training and Control Certificate
➢ NDIS Orientation Certificate

COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE:
➢ Previous experience in a similar role – Minimum of 1 year relevant experience
➢ Previous experience supporting People with Psychosocial Disability
➢ Demonstrated proficient written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
➢ Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
➢ Ensure that you are aware of the required legislations to be compliant with
➢ Ability to effectively prioritise and organise own work / caseload.
➢ Demonstrated commitment to professional development, quality improvement and evidence based practice.
