Speech Pathologist – all levels – Bunbury, WA
The company
Our client is looking to add a Speech Pathologist of any level, to their team in Bunbury on a permanent basis who will support their clients and provide the highest quality service provision.
You will be working with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high quality care and services to clients across their neurological and developmental services. These services will be in a clinic and community-based setting, which would include visiting clients homes, schools and community centres, where required.
The existing team are made up of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Dietitians, who are all passionate about providing the best care possible for their clients and work collaboratively together to ensure that clients have the best all-round care required.
The role
As the Speech Pathologist, you will work with individuals of all ages to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Our client is open to taking on speech pathologists with any level of experience – for new graduates, training and development will be provided.
In addition to this, you will also carry out the following responsibilities:
- Responsible for the Speech Pathology management of individuals with a variety of conditions including neurological and developmental conditions
- Monitor, evaluate and modify treatment plans to measure client progress and ensure effectiveness of intervention
- Provide comprehensive interdisciplinary assessment, treatment and discharge
- Discuss services and treatment options with potential clients and/or their primary caregivers
- Adapting practice to meet individual client’s circumstances, including due regard for cultural, social and linguistic differences
About you
You will be a qualified Speech Pathologist and ideally have a passion and keen interest in neurological and developmental conditions.
You will also have:
- Qualification in Speech Pathology (Undergraduate or Masters)
- Registration with Speech Pathology Australia and associated Private Indemnity Insurance
- Driving licence
- Working with Children’s Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
