Form of workLogan Alcohol and Drug Service are looking for a Needle & Syringe Program Coordinator to join their team. Working out of the Logan Community Health Centre, the primary responsibility for this role is to provide, operate, maintain, and coordinate activities within Needle and Syringe Program in the local community. This involves the provision of services that aim to reduce the harms associated with injecting drug use, and the provision of information and training support to a variety of stakeholders.

About the Role
- Apply highly developed interpersonal and communication (both written and oral), negotiation and consultation skills within a multidisciplinary workplace in order to communicate with staff at all levels within a large organisation, the public and external agencies with the possession of tact, diplomacy and discretion. High level secretariat skills and management of administrative functions, including but not limited to charts and records management, data entry using a range of computer information systems, production and actioning of reports, actioning of correspondence, agendas, minutes, reconciliation of petty cash, budgetary or financial information, coordination of shared resources/equipment, building, facility and maintenance requirements, contract management and collation and dissemination of information or resources.
- Provide a meet and greet service to customers and support other administrative staff to respond to general reception enquiries by answering all incoming telephone calls and ensuring accurate transfer of messages and information to support consumers and staff.
- Execute ethical decision-making, in the achievement of departmental and Organisational objectives whilst continuously reviewing work practices to maintain high professional work standards, seeking ways for ongoing improvement.
