At St Andrews Lutheran College, we embrace the philosophy of 'Sport for Life' from ELC to Year 12. Directly liaising with the Head of Sport, the person we are seeking will provide efficient and effective leadership and management of the St Andrews Netball Program. This role will work on a contractor agreement and will further build on the success of netball at the college.
The successful applicant will need to have:
- Current Blue Card
- Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance
- ABN Number
In liaison with the Head of Sport:
- Provide students at St Andrews with a well‐structured and challenging Netball program that is both inclusive and competitive.
- Provide students with timely information about training requirements.
- Ensure students participate strictly in accordance with School Uniform Policy and meet Code of Conduct expectations.
- Provide assistance and feedback to students wishing to pursue representative selection at Regional or higher levels. notation styles including tablature.
Duties and Responsibilities
You will be required:
- To organize and co‐ordinate the day-to-day operation of St Andrews Netball.
- To develop, disseminate and ensure implementation of best practice Netball programs.
- To ensure an appropriate ‘duty of care’ exists for Netball players.
- To be the ‘public face’ of St Andrews Netball on all relevant occasions.
- To be actively involved in Netball, stepping into coach when other staff are absent.
- To be the Head Coach for our Representative Netball team and attend competitions including but not limited to QISSN and Vicki Wilson
- Unsure that Professional development is completed, and coaches are suitably qualified with coaching qualifications..
