About the Role
Facilities are now seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Coach to join their team. As the Head Coach, you will lead a team of coaches, oversee fitness programs, and ensure the highest quality of training. You will foster a supportive community environment and drive member engagement and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the coaching team, providing mentorship, support, and professional development.
- Develop and implement structured training programs that align with the Facilities Fitness philosophy.
- Instruct and lead group fitness classes, ensuring a fun, upbeat atmosphere with personalised attention to each member.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fitness programs, making adjustments as needed.
- Foster a community-driven environment, encouraging member interaction and engagement.
- Ensure even training distribution across all body groups throughout the week.
- Incorporate various training methodologies, including metabolic conditioning, high-intensity interval training, olympic lifting, and boxing.
- Conduct regular assessments of members' fitness levels and progress.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming gym environment.
- Stay updated on the latest fitness trends and techniques.
- Handle administrative duties related to scheduling, class planning, and member communication.
Certifications & Qualifications
- Minimum Certificate 4 in Personal Training or related qualification.
- Strength & conditioning, olympic lifting, Crossfit, boxing, yoga and other methodologies are highly regarded.
- CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Public Liability And Professional Indemnity Insurance.
Key Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience in leading group fitness classes and personal training.
- Strong knowledge of fitness training methodologies.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a team of coaches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for fitness and a commitment to fostering a supportive community environment.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
