SalaryWe are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our team and take responsibility for the overall maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of our company's computer networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network infrastructure and possess excellent problem-solving abilities to ensure optimal functionality and security of our systems.
Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure including hardware, software, and various network devices.
Install, support, and manage network servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network-related issues, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.
Implement and maintain network security measures to protect data, systems, and networks from unauthorized access or breaches.
Collaborate with the IT team to optimize network performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
Perform routine maintenance and updates to network hardware and software as needed.
Evaluate network capacity and scalability requirements, making recommendations for improvements or upgrades.
Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience working as a Network Administrator or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
Hands-on experience with network hardware devices and tools such as routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
Proficient in network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Industry certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Network+, etc.
Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud networking.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for network automation.
