The Opportunity
Reporting to the Australian Head of IT, the Network Administrator will play a crucial role in the administration, configuration and maintenance of the network (both cloud and on-prem), is reliable and efficient. This business is a Microsoft house, where all of the modern MS technologies are utilised (D365, O365, Windows, Azure etc).
Some of the key tasks aligned to this role include:
- Provide End-User support for complex issues with hardware and software and peripheral technologies.
- Management of networks / infrastructure including Switches, Routing & Firewalls.
- Administration of network security including virus protection, data loss protection (DLP), email & web filters and gateways.
- Maintain and support Windows Servers as well as Azure Cloud services and Azure Active Directory
- Perform software, firmware and hardware updates periodically.
- Maintain the IT Asset register
- Participate in IT infrastructure projects such as implementations & upgrades, including rolling out digital and Operational Technologies.
The Successful Applicant
- Will hold an tertiary qualification in IT or Computing
- Brings expertise with Windows servers as well as Azure cloud and associated products.
- Has broad skills and is able to operate at a Level 3 technical support for all hardware, networking and software issues.
- Is proven at supporting a user community of >1000 people across multiple sites.
- Comes from a Microsoft heavy tech stack in your prior roles.
- Interpersonally, you are a team player with a positive demenour & enthusiastic attitude to your craft. You are an open and honest communicator with the ability to work with others as well as autonomously.
