Enjoy this varied opportunityAs a Network and Systems Administrator at FFA, reporting to the Manager of IT, you'll be essential in maintaining LAN and WAN integrity, supporting vessel monitoring systems, and providing user support. Your role includes managing network infrastructure, ensuring system security, and contributing to technical support and training.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain operational integrity of LAN and WAN.
- Administer and maintain network systems, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Provide technical support for the FFA Secretariat and member countries.
- Conduct performance monitoring and analysis of network traffic.

What you bring to the teamWe're seeking a professional with a relevant tertiary qualification in IT, focusing on network systems administration, and at least 5 years experience in LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
As our ideal candidate, you should have expertise in Windows and Linux server administration, VMWare environment administration, TCP/IP network management, and Google Suite Apps and at least 5 years experience in any of the core technology systems.
Desirable Qualities:
- Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, RHCE, VCP).
- Experience in database administration for various systems.
- Proficiency in network management and system integrity tools.
In addition, your knowledge and experience in using Network and Systems analysis tools coupled with your ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team and excellent communication skills in English will make you an invaluable member of our team.

Benefits on offerFor your work and effort as our Network and Systems Administrator, you will receive a competitive salary package of circa US$61,670.00 - US$84,717.00 (tax-free, for citizens of most countries), negotiable to earn more based on your skills and experience.

- Superannuation, paid at 7.5% into either a nominated fund or an additional cash supplement (paid out every 6 months or twice a year).
