An exciting new opportunity is available for a System & Network Administrator for a Market Leader in the Wireless Communications Industry. This is a permanent position, located near the Sydney CBD and allows you to work from home 2/3 days per week.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Maintaining user accounts and application software licences.
- Maintain the IT networks including those deployed in a cloud environment.
- Ensure the IT systems meet the required security standards and upgrade/maintain them as and when required.
- Monitor, Administrate, augment or update the network infrastructure to maintain operations and support new projects and businesses.
- Audit the company's IT systems and software and maintain an asset register.
- Document IT policies, procedures and existing or planned infrastructure.
- Document IT systems hardware layout and software deployment.
- Analyse, test and perform upgrades for new software patches when required.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience deploying and maintaining virtualised Windows and Linux servers on premises and in the cloud.
- Experience deploying and maintaining applications and other services on Linux and Windows Servers, for example LDAP, DNS, SFTP, Mail.
- Experience deploying, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining networks and associated equipment.
- The experience and skills to set up secure and robust VPN, VLANs and firewalls.
- Experience rolling out cloud services such as Office 365.
