Churchie is currently seeking applicants for the following role:
Network and Systems Administrator, Full Time, immediate commencement
This role is full-time and is predominately responsible for the ongoing development, implementation and maintenance of the enterprise architecture of the School, supporting organisation, information, technology and applications layers.
The successful candidate will have:
- Extensive experience in managing a complex network / server infrastructure in a multi- facetted organization.
- An ability to be an innovative thinker - able to turn enterprise requirements into workable solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills to ensure a high quality and responsive customer services within defined areas of responsibility.
Qualifications
Completion of an undergraduate degree; completion of an associate diploma and at least 5 years’ subsequent relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Experience, Knowledge and Skills
- Solid experience (5+ years) administrating enterprise networks/server environments working with products from Dell, Aruba or equivalent. Industry certification in these technologies is highly desirable.
- Enterprise Microsoft environments with and on-prem and cloud solutions (Active Directory / Azure / Endpoint Manager / Microsoft365).
- Plan, build and support server infrastructure in line with organisational strategy.
- Extensive administration experience in VMware (vSphere / vCenter) virtualized environment.
- Experience in Identity and Access management from design, implementation and configuration.
- Managing large network environment including VoIP, Data Services, IP Routing, QoS, Telecommunications, LAN, Wireless Networks, WAN Services, and Operations & Support.
- Scoping and implementing large network change and upgrade projects
- Responding to L2- L3 helpdesk requests and troubleshooting where required
- You will have an eye for detail across technical documentation, and be able to consult and advise senior management and other stakeholders.
