Key Responsibilities
- Installation and support of on-site & cloud hosted communications services
- Assisting with projects each step of the way. Obtaining requirements from customers, configuring local or cloud-hosted PBX systems, provisioning & testing those systems
- Building call-flows, setting up voice-mails, automated messaging, ring groups/queues, failover etc.
- On-boarding new customers. Delivering phones and voice equipment on-site, providing basic assistance & training and ensuring everything is up and running
- Basic troubleshooting and/or repair of physical cabling issues with the assistance of the rest of our technical team
- Taking phone calls and providing support to clients. Lodging and actioning support tickets & emails with assistance from our techs
- Creating and supporting documentation related to voice systems for customers
- Troubleshooting voice communication, from physical faults to registration and call quality issues
- Working with the rest of the team, ensuring we can all deliver to a high standard
Desirable Skills and Experience
- At least 3 years in a similar role with a high focus on VoIP based & traditional PBX voice systems
- Highly familiar with setting up and managing customer accounts and call flows
- Excellent troubleshooting & fault finding abilities. Ability to think on your feet and work towards solving problems that may not always be expected
- Clear verbal and written communication with clients and staff members
- Knowledge of Data Networking including Switches, Firewalls, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, etc
- Strong focus on customer service, in-office as well as in-person
- Flexibility in your role, able to assist the team when required
- ACMA Open Registered Cable License is desirable but not essential
