As our new Network Engineer for KFC South Pacific, reporting to our Portfolio Delivery Lead, you will assist with the deployment of new internet & telephony services, new network equipment, design & configuration, and a new communications rack environment in restaurants.

ABOUT YOU – OUR NEXT ORIGINAL 

• Experience and knowledge of TCP/IP and Ethernet protocols, IP Routing technologies and telecommunications data services.
• Understanding of network technologies HP Aruba & Cisco Meraki switches, WAPs and Firewalls.
• Experience and knowledge of supporting and implementing LAN & WAN networks, designs, topologies and technologies.
• Strong customer support focus, attention to detail and sound interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritise and function well in a fast-paced project environment in time sensitive situations.
• Proactive, motivated, and desire to achieve, ability to self-start and coach.
• Willingness to travel to restaurant locations if required.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF YOUR NEW ROLE

• Design, manage, monitor, and maintain KFC’s restaurant networks and security devices, including escalation on critical events.
• Recommend design & implement changes in to improve efficiency, access control, and policy management.
• Major contributor to projects delivered through the “Rock Solid Running Gear” (RSRG) project, providing technical mentorship, whilst supporting incident management and maintaining Asset management for all network equipment.
• Report on security, performance, capacity, and any other issues which have the potential to cause degradation to the operational network/security infrastructure.
• Manage the lifecycle of network infrastructure required for uninterrupted delivery of networking/connectivity services.
• Maintain documentation for design, As Built, training and support knowledge for cross-training of team members.
• Develop and maintain Service Catalogue offerings for RSRG deliverables.
