The purpose of this role will be providing management services, technical project management and service provision to AJG business across ANZ in the areas of data network, telecommunications, and computer telephony support, and security, internal and external services.
This is a 12 months fixed-term contract.*
Key Responsibilities:
Scope of services (but not limited to)
- Provide L3 Network & Telephony Support in relation to incidents and work requests
- Network/telephony hardware and software installations and upgrades
- LAN/WAN infrastructure and Data Centre services support
- Network monitoring and configuration
- Incident response and resolution of network/telephony faults
- Input to Network and Telephony solution design
- Maintains appropriate levels of technical documentation
- Liaises with 3rd party supplier services for delivery & support of as required
- Provides technical support to Technical & Service Desk Analysts to assist in call resolution
- Undertake and assist with the completion of post-incident reviews for all priority incidents
This is a great opportunity and to be considered, you will be able to demonstrate:
- At least 5 years of experience in delivery of technical network and telephony services
- Sound knowledge of:
- LAN/WAN/Internet networking systems and software essential
- Router/Switch software and hardware essential
- Firewalls, WAN accelerates and load-balances desirable
- TCP/IP, 4G, Wireless, MPLS and associated networking protocols
- Organisation's technical environment and operating platforms
- Security in the context of Networks and Telephony systems
- To work autonomously and in a team environment
- To provide guidance to technical management and analysts
- To prioritise and allocate tasks across distributed teams nationally
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Dedicated and good problem solving skills
- Qualifications - CCNP or equivalent technical qualification is desirable
- Travel to various locations & Data Centres across Australia as required
