The Opportunity
Reporting to the QLD and NSW Water Lead, the primary role of the network modelling and Planning Engineer will be the assessment of master planned developments through the use of hydraulic modelling software. Your technical expertise in network modelling and planning will enable the efficient design and delivery of infrastructure required to support growing communities.
The role will support my client’s national water program, providing network modelling and planning across metropolitan and regional Australia. As an experienced engineer with a passion for network planning, you will lead projects and guide my client’s growing team of hydraulic modelling staff.
About You
To be successful in this role, you are:
- Qualified in the fields of Civil / Environmental Engineering as recognised by Engineers Australia
- 5+ years of post graduate experience in network modelling and planning
- Demonstrating experience in network planning and hydraulic modelling for pressurised and gravity systems
- Competent in InfoWorks WS Pro and InfoWorks ICM software along with other network modelling software
- Passionate about providing exceptional service to clients
- Possessing broad knowledge of current statutory requirements, engineering, and contract standards
- Eager to guide and mentor junior hydraulic modelling staff
- Having excellent verbal and written communication skills
