The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) provides secondary and tertiary care to children and young people across the northern and western suburbs; specialist paediatric healthcare to the children of Victoria, Tasmania, southern NSW and parts of South Australia; and is the designated state-wide provider of services including paediatric trauma, rehabilitation and forensic medicine. Applications are now open for Neurosurgery Fellow to commence for 12 months on a full-time basis.
There are two positions available, one will commence in February 2025, and one will commence in August 2025. Your preference will be asked at the interview stage.
The role of the Neurosurgery Fellow is to develop diagnostic and operative skills in paediatric neurosurgery through the care of neurosurgical patients and their families both in the wards, outpatient setting and in the operating theatres. This is complemented through education of medical and paramedical staff and participation in clinical research.
