Two opportunities for Administration Assistants have opened up within our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be joining a well-rounded team to assist in all aspects of the businesses Administration function. We are looking for both a Night Shift Administration Assistant (09:00pm - 06:00am).
Your resourcefulness and ability to solve problems whilst being supportive to other team members is essential, along with a positive attitude and an ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Key Qualities of the Successful Candidate:
- Previous experience in an Administration within Transport and Logistics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional personal presentation.
- Customer Service orientated.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Able to work autonomously and as a team.
- Initiative and reliability.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills with MS office, including Excel.
- Experience with the JAIX or Freight 2020 TMS systems desired.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Overseeing several administration functions and playing a key function between operations and our administration process.
- Establishing a standard for administrative processes and tasks for both local and regional depots.
- Managing a central depository of data and documentation.
- Reconciling of driver hours and preparation of reports for invoicing all customers & processing transactions.
- Managing paperwork return for all deliveries and proactively following up with management and drivers.
- Monitoring email accounts and responding professionally to customer queries.
- Engaging with team to drive changes in our administration processes.
- Involvement in aspects of Operations including preparing delivery documentation and developing relationships with customers.
- Record keeping, and filing as well as uploading documents into SharePoint.
- General Admin duties.
