About the role
A great opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to develop leadership skills within a compassionate, not for profit organisation.
- Reporting to the Residential Care Manager you will manage and lead a team of nurses and carers
- Full time, permanent position, leading one of three units - low care, high care or dementia care
- Oversee and provide quality resident-focused and clinical care utilising a person-centred approach
- Oversee residents’ assessments, treatment, care plans and other documentation to the highest standard.
- Building and fostering partnerships with each resident and their families, respecting and ensuring their dignity, and focusing on their health and wellbeing.
- Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Previous clinical experience in an aged care environment and knowledge of relevant legislation
- Experience in managing and leading people by building a positive team culture
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care and ability to work well in a team environment
- You will lead by example, demonstrating YH’s core values
