Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join our team as an Operations Supervisor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating day-to-day warehouse operations during the night shift (11:00 pm to 07:00 am). This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership:

• Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational targets.
• Provide clear instructions, guidance, and support to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
• Foster a positive working environment and encourage teamwork among staff members.

Operational Efficiency:

• Monitor and optimise warehouse processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Implement best practices to improve productivity and minimise errors.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

Inventory Management:

• Oversee the accurate receiving, storing, and shipping of products.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Implement strategies to minimise stockouts and excess inventory.

Quality Control:

• Ensure that all products meet quality standards and follow proper handling procedures.
• Implement and enforce quality control measures to prevent damages and losses.

Safety and Compliance:

• Enforce safety guidelines and protocols to create a secure working environment.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety training sessions for warehouse staff.

Communication:

• Effectively communicate with team members, management, and other departments.
• Report on key performance indicators, challenges, and successes during shift meetings.

Working Hours:

• 11:00 pm - 7:00 am.

Profile
Requirements:

• Previous experience in warehouse operations or a related field.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Offer
What's on offer
On offer is a competitive annual base salary between $75,000 - $80,000 + 11% superannuation + annual bonus. You will qualify for reimbursements if any travel is required.
