Our client is a leading provider of process and pipeline services to the domestic & international oil and gas industry. Their services span across nine countries offering a wide range of services from downstream pre-commissioning, asset life cycle in directional drilling, measurement while drilling as well as providing engineering expertise across a wide range of energy projects such as offshore oil and gas platforms, LNG facilities, refineries, petrochemical plants, gas processing plants, subsea pipelines and power plants.
The Role
Opportunities currently exist for experienced Nitrogen Technicians as well as a Nitrogen Supervisor to work on the Santos Darwin LNG Life Extension project. The Darwin LNG plant is a single train liquefaction and storage facility located on Darwin Harbour, NT. Our client currently requires LN2 Technicians to work on setup, function testing and the operation of converter pumps.
These roles are initially for 3 months, working 12-hour days from Monday to Saturday (Sunday RDO) with accommodation available at Bladin Point with access to a gym, swimming pool, pool table and BBQ areas.
About You
You're an experienced Nitrogen Technician, competent in all aspects of liquid nitrogen pumping operations, with previous experience within the oil and gas, petrochemical or renewables industry. You will also have the following qualifications and certifications:
- Relevant trade qualifications
- EWP (Yellow Card) within 5 years
- Working at Heights, Gas Test Atmospheres and Enter/Work in Confined Space.
- Valid Drivers License
- Construction Induction (White Card)
