Join our global Non-Financial Risk division, Line 1 risk, who provide advice and valued input across our Financial Management Group as the independent voice of risk. We aid staff in applying non-financial risk management best practices.

What role will you play?
You will play a leading role in our Line 1 Risk and Control Uplift projects and programmes within Group Treasury. Initially engaging with stakeholders across the Financial Management Group, Risk Management Group and Commodities and Global Markets division you will ensure correct interpretation of relevant group and divisional policies, and correct application of these policies to business-as-usual activities in Group Treasury both locally and globally.
As part of your role in ensuring that our control environment is effective you will be required to consider the relevant processes performed within Group Treasury and that the risks and controls that impacts the environment are designed and operating effectively. Part of this will be to ensure incidents are managed and issues are remediated in a timely manner through collaboration with various stakeholders.
What you offer
- Minimum of 10 years experience in financial services as an operational risk management or risk assurance expert, specialising across treasury functions, financial accounting, product control or bank liquidity management or reporting
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills including experience working across global regions
- Ability to support strict governance requirements and challenge existing business practices
- Practical understanding of the implementation of risk and control frameworks to manage enterprise risks in highly regulated legal entities and across group structures
- Previous projects and/or change management experience and experience working in complex multi-faceted programs with tight deadlines.
