The role:
We are currently seeking a Nurse Educator to join our team based in Brisbane on a permanent part-time basis working 3 days per week. Reporting to the Head of Learning & Development Practice Governance and working alongside a small multiple-disciplinary team across Centacare services, the Nurse Educator will provide specialist training, develop resources, and provide subject matter expertise to help the operations team manage performance and ensure high quality client care within all areas of service delivery.
Key Duties:
- Plan and deliver training with focus on: Induction; Mandatory Training; Role/Site Specific Training and; Client Specific Training
- Collaborate and consult with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and other external providers and stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and consultation with stakeholders.
- Support and resource activities relating to the learning and development functions, where required.
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Nursing and 3+ years of relevant clinical experience
- Registration with APHRA and possession of a current practising certificate
- Current Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
- Proven learning and development experience within a clinical or practice setting within the Health, Aged Care, Disability or Community Sector.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide training and implement a competency-based learning and assessment framework.
- Superior analytical, problem-solving, written, reporting, and evaluation knowledge and skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a current driver’s license, blue card, criminal history check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and evidence of rights to work in Australia.
