64 hours per fortnight from 11.03.2024 up to 05.01.2025.
About your opportunity
The Nurse Unit Manager will provide leadership, support, research and education within the multidisciplinary team to ensure the provision of best practice in the management of Hyperbaric patients within a continuum of care framework.
The Hyperbaric Unit provides for both inpatient and outpatient treatments to the Townsville HHS. The Hyperbaric Unit is the only public decompression chamber in northern Queensland and treats many conditions including chronic wounds and decompression illness.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
- Proof of qualification, registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
- Highly Desirable: Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field is highly desirable. Such experience may be discipline specific or have a service area focus.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.

Generous pro rata remuneration package up to $11,220 p.m. comprising and a salary range of $64.90 to $70.47 p.h. (Nurse Grade 7)
