What you'll be doing
The Nurse Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of nursing and other clinical and non-clinical support services at the service level to provide safe compassionate person-centred care through the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care in collaboration with individual/s and the multidisciplinary health care team, internal and external, to achieve safe quality care outcomes that meet the goals of the individual.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse-Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) and relevant management tertiary qualification and/or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
- Proven ability to function as part of a leadership team, working successfully with other professionals and disciplines in the management of health Care Services, including strategic planning, service development, change / project management, and the development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Demonstrated high level leadership skills and the ability to motivate, inspire and manage staff to achieve service and organisational goals utilising recognised change management principles.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a complex service with competing demands for access, throughput, and resources With proven high level negotiation and communication skills, written and verbal.
