Senior Nurse opportunity to join our management team! Make a real difference in our Eating Disorders Unit with this full-time position
About the Role
Joining our team as the Nurse Unit Manager – Eating Disorders, you will work with and support staff to achieve excellence in care delivery in line with best practice and legislative requirements.
The position is accountable for the efficient and effective management of staff within the department and liaising with key internal and external stakeholders involved in the provision of care and treatment to patients.
This fast paced and highly rewarding role reports to the Director of Clinical Services.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have the ability to inspire, motivate and mentor your team. You will be a leader with a passion for seeing your team members succeed and grow while bringing a passion for a high level of client care and service.
You will also demonstrate:
- Relevant qualifications and registration with AHPRA
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an acute health care setting
- Clinical experience working with eating disorders essential
- Strong clinical skill set along with recent management experience
- Proven knowledge as a senior nurse or manager
- Management or relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded.
- Experience or exposure to managing clinical staff recruitment, rostering and performance management.
Remuneration
On offer is a base hourly rate of $60.62 + Superannuation based on qualifications and experience. Exclusive of penalties and allowances.
