The Nurse Unit Manager is accountable for the delivery of exceptional healthcare within their ward/unit. The Nurse Unit Manager leads, directs and coordinates a team approach to patient-centred nursing care.
The successful candidate will have:
- Post graduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing.
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or Midwifery.
- Registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Nurse/Midwife.
- Demonstrated extensive clinical nursing experience relevant to the position.
- Proven ability to lead a clinical safety and quality culture that places the patient at the center, optimises outcomes and delivers an excellent patient experience.
- Demonstrated ability to nurture, motivate and develop the team and to build productive relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve clinical excellence and key outcomes within the scope of available resources.
