About Department
The Community Nursing Team is part of our Community & Allied Health Services Directorate. The directorate consists of allied health, Community Nursing, in home support services, social support services, public dental services and community assessment services.
About the Role
This position is a key member of our Community & Allied Health leadership team and provides and leads the Community Nursing Services. The Community Nursing services includes: District Nursing, Community Palliative Care, specialist nursing services (diabetes, continence clinics, Prostate Cancer nurse and McGrath Breast Care nurse). The role also oversees Community Nursing services provided through our Loch Sport and Rosedale clinics.
Duties
- Team Leadership & development
- Budget and performance management for the unit
- Ensuring high level Community Nursing services are provided to our community
- Clinical oversight and service planning including evaluation of services
- Stakeholder engagement
About You
- Highly motivated Registered nurse who is passionate about our community
- Experience in Community Nursing and or community palliative care
- Willingness to work with others and be a positive role model for your staff
