What You Will Be Doing
The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) is a valued member of the leadership team at Peninsula Health, committed to upholding Peninsula Health's values and meeting organisational goals. The NUM is instrumental in the planning process and the effective allocation of resources for The Flinders Ward. Flinders Unit is a 30 bed Secure GEM Unit specialising in the care of patients with multiple chronic and complex medical conditions including cognitive impairment and dementia. You will be responsible for leading and managing a diverse team ensuring that their staff deliver safe, evidence based, person centered care to achieve a high standard of quality patient outcomes.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Experience in a leadership or management role
- Experience working in a GEM Unit
- Mental health experience (desirable)
