Mental Health Nurse Manager required to lead a general Mental Health unit within this state of the art private hospital in Melbourne.

THE ROLE
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, you will be responsible for providing leadership and operational management to a Mental Health unit catering for general Mental Health comprised of 30 beds. You will work to ensure quality of care in line with best practice, collaborate with key leaders and stakeholders, implement process improvement initiatives, monitor compliance and the appropriate use of all resources available. You will also provide education and development opportunities for staff.
THE ESSENTIALS
- Full AHPRA registration & Australian working rights
- Post graduate qualifications in Mental Health essential
- Full working knowledge of ACHS standards
- Proven experience in leadership in Mental Health within an acute setting
- Understand of private Mental Health
- Ability to plan + evaluate a continuous improvement/risk management program
