- We have an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Unit Manager Level 3 to lead and shape the future of healthcare in New South Wales. - Virtual Urgent Care is an innovative model of care that assesses children before they even step foot in the hospital. This ground-breaking collaboration between SCHN, HNE Kids Health, and HealthDirect is revolutionising healthcare delivery across NSW. Our aim is to reduce unnecessary ED presentations and provide children and their families with the right care pathway from the comfort of their homes.
- As a Nurse Unit Manager Level 3, you will be at the heart of this transformative service. Your primary purpose is to lead and manage the Clinical Services Team, ensuring excellent patient/client care within the HNEkidshealth Virtual Kids service and Paediatric Hospital in the Home (PHiTH) Service.

Requirements:
Our successful candidate will possess the following:
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Eligible to drive in NSW.
- Your expertise will maximise health outcomes for our community, and your responsibilities will include:
- Managing service resources, planning, and monitoring performance.
- Contributing to the development of service direction for Virtual Kids and PHiTH.
- Leading continuous improvement activities, promoting contemporary models of care, and engaging with staff and families.
- Collaborating with internal and external units to ensure effective and coordinated service delivery.
- Delivering services within professional boundaries, ethics, and cultural respect.
- Leading and mentoring clinical service delivery, providing expertise and guidance to the team.
- Building collaborative relationships and networks to optimise patient/client outcomes.
- Acting as a primary interface between Senior Managers and front-line staff.
- Managing and leading the workforce through recruitment, development, and performance management.
- Identifying and mediating conflicts to create a respectful workplace.
- Developing policies to enhance professional practice and service delivery.
- Utilising evidence-based research to inform and enhance service delivery.
