Nursing Director - Integrated Operations Centre (Hospitals South)

The role:The Nursing Director - RHH Integrated Operations Centre:

• Undertakes a key senior management role with responsibility for leading strategic planning, service delivery and policy development activities relating to the delivery of health services across the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) that improve patient pathways and access for the population, where appropriate.
• Takes operational management responsibility for Nursing and Clinical Directors across the service delivery areas of the RHH, working in collaboration and cooperation with other key senior personnel.
• Provides advice and assistance to the Chief Executive Hospitals South to inform decision making to promote the delivery of effective and efficient services within the RHH and to develop, implement and evaluate strategies that support the Department of Health (DoH) in achieving its key objectives.

Salary: $181,509 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

• Professional Development Allowance of up to $500 per annum

Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023Eligibility:Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria: * Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered NurseApplicants should note the following criteria are desirable: * Holds a post graduate tertiary qualification relevant to the positionThe Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted: * Conviction checks in the following areas:

• sex related offences
• serious drug offences
• crimes involving dishonesty
• Identification check
• Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
