South West Personnel is proud to partner with South32 to offer an experienced registered Occupational Nursing professional to primarily work onsite at their Boddington Bauxite Mine.
Working for a supportive industry leader you will be part of a friendly clinical Health Team committed to best practice and the betterment of employee safety, care and wellness. You must hold RN qualifications teamed with a current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration and hold Occupational Health experience, ideally having worked in a similar role within the mining or heavy industry environment.
Initial training for this role will be performed at the Collie Refinery along with the requirement to rotate work locations between Boddington Mine and Collie Refinery to encourage positive team work and shared learnings.
Preferred Experience:
- Triage capability and wound management
- Injury/illness assessment and treatments
- Return to work management
- Health Surveillance co-ordination
- Strict adherence to process and policy – confidentiality
- Spirometry and Audiometric assessment testing capability preferred, not essential
Mandatory Requirements:
- Residing within a reasonable driving distance from BODDINGTON – ie Mandurah/Boddington Area
- Availability to commence shifts from 6am
- Flexibility to complete training and shift coverage at the Collie Refinery
- Valid C Class drivers licence
The successful applicant will be required to complete registration at the South West Personnel office located in Bunbury willingness to undertake a full pre-employment medical.
