About the Role
We're excited to present a new opportunity for an Occupational Health Nurse who enjoys tackling analytical challenges. If you shine in the fast-paced mining industry and have a strong passion for healthcare, then this role is perfectly suited for you!
As our new OHN, you'll play a pivotal role in:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Wembley Treatment Room and Clinical Examination Rooms.
- Conducting high-quality medical assessments, including Pre-Employment screenings, audiometry, spirometry, visual acuity tests, drug and alcohol screenings, immunizations, phlebotomy, and ECGs.
- Promoting general health and wellness, with a focus on cardiovascular health.
- Upholding clinic hygiene standards and maintaining medical stock.
- Supporting Health Monitoring processes and liaising with stakeholders.
- Assisting with emergency phone line duties during business hours.
- Actively engaging in Clinical Governance activities.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory obligations regarding medical records and confidentiality.
- Managing digital health records and conducting equipment checks and maintenance.
About You
We're on the lookout for candidates who bring to the table:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor of Nursing qualification (Registered Nurse).
- Current Advanced Life Support Certificate (Preferred).
- National Immunization Program Certificate.
- Proficiency in Spirometry and Audiometry.
- Relevant certifications such as HLTPAT 005 for drug testing.
- Current Police Clearance and WA Driver’s license.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office suite.
- Exceptional presentation and communication abilities.

Previous experience in a similar role or within a mine site clinical setting, coupled with certifications in Yellow Fever Immunization and Q Fever Immunization.
